Aging is a process that doesn’t just happen to the aging adult-it affects the whole family.

Families too often assume that when their aging loved one needs more help than friends and family can provide that it’s time for a move. After working with many families who came to this conclusion and regretted it, we know that moving is not always the best choice. Most aging adults would prefer to stay in their home and many INSIST on it. Home care is often a better option. Services may include:

Companionship- mental stimulation, engagement, social interaction
Personal Assistance- medication reminders, bathing, grooming, incontinence care, foot soaks, backrubs
Meals- planning and prepare daily and future healthy meals according to dietary needs
Promote Active Aging- encourage healthy habits, exercise, and ambulation
Light Housekeeping-organizing and maintaining an already clean home-less than 25% of total care time
Laundry- clothes, bedding, towels
Errands and Appointments- with or without the client
Daily Tasks- Mail letters/bills, do dishes, take out trash, tidy up, pet care, make bed, get paper, plan
