Most aging adults would prefer to stay in their home
and many INSIST on it.

Sometimes moving your aging loved one with dementia to a facility is the best choice-we know that in some circumstances staying at home is not ideal- but often times, with the right help and support at home, they can remain in their own comfortable and familiar surroundings without the stress and hardship of a move. Most aging adults would prefer to stay in their home and many INSIST on it.

Aging is a process that doesn’t just happen to the aging adult-it affects the whole family. Families too often assume that when their aging loved one needs more help than friends and family can provide that it’s time for a move. After working with many families who came to this conclusion and regretted it, we know that moving is not always the best choice. Home care is often a better option. Try our Alzheimer’s/Dementia Safe & Happy In-home Care Program.
