Home Instead Senior Care Featured on Forbes’ 2017 Best Employers ListOMAHA, Neb. – May 9, 2017 – Forbes' third annual "America's Best Employers" list has named Home Instead Senior Care one of its best employers for 2017. The list was generated using anonymous feedback from employees at the nation's top employers.

Companies on the Best Employers' list range across 25 different industry sectors – from government services to retail to healthcare. While the 2017 list featured a variety of healthcare companies, Home Instead is the only provider of home care services for seniors.

Participants were asked 35 questions about work-related topics, including whether employees would recommend their employer – with additional weight given to this particular question.

Home Care Consultant

Job Details

JOB SUMMARY
The Home Care Consultant is responsible for coordinating and generating new business for Home Instead Senior Care with both existing and new accounts. Also, this position will identify new markets while maintaining existing ones. The Home Care Consultant will build relationships between agencies, hospitals, medical community and other referral sources. This position involves daily interaction with medical professionals and other community stakeholders.
 
JOB DUTIES

  • Maintain and build existing referral base 
  • Develop business through community relationships
  • Provide information to patients and their families interested in Home Instead Senior Care.
  • Identify the needs of our referrers and offer tailored solutions to the appropriate decision makers 
  • Improve relationships between physicians, facilities and agencies
  • Educate physicians, hospitals, and other referral sources regarding services of Home Instead and inform vendors on scope of service
  • Performs community informational service events
  • Set effective goals and priorities; monitor progress against plans/productivity standards
  • Within an assigned territory, identify and close new business opportunities for the company. Meet established sales objectives and maintain a regular presence in each account
  • Provide the company with feedback regarding competitive activity and other relevant information
  • Receive referrals from physicians, hospitals, and other agencies 
  • Serve as a liaison between the agency, physicians, facilities, referral sources, and hospitals in the community
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required qualifications for this position include:
 
  • Experience in sales and marketing 
  • Bachelors degree, preferred 
  • Current Nebraska Driver’s license and automobile insurance
Salary is negotiable and based on experience.
