Isatau Darboe (Professional Caregiver) and Yvette Buckner (client) are our Professional Caregiver and Client Spotlight of November! Ms. Buckner has been with us since 2018. She is a family woman who loves to spend time with them. Most shifts the PCG is taking her to visit at her daughter’s house here in town. Ms. Buckner is in the midst of stroke recovery from 2020 and doing incredible. They have found a common connection in that our PCG used to ride the school bus with her grandson years ago. This started a bond with them that has carried through out the years. They have been paired together since May 2019. They love spending time shopping and over at Ms. Buckner’s daughter’s house. PCG is considered a part of the family and a bond they take very seriously and cherish. Ms. Buckner said “Isatau never hesitates to take initiative or complete a task when asked. She is kind, caring, and easy to talk to. I don’t know what I would do without her.”
