 Tracy Zaweski- Franchise Owner Originally from Garden City, NY, Tracy has a BS Accounting degree from the State University of New York at Albany. Out of college, she worked for Deloitte Haskins & Sells, a big eight accounting firm located at One World Trade Center, in New York City. Before purchasing the Home Instead Senior Care franchise, Tracy was a territory sales representative for various medical device companies including Alcon Surgical and Guidant Corporation where she specialized in implant intra-ocular lenses and implantable pacemakers & defibrillators. She also worked for Smiths Medical, a manufacturer of insulin pumps which served clients with insulin dependent diabetes. Through her career, Tracy has developed a love of working with seniors. Her desire to help seniors and their families locally in her community led her to Home Instead Senior Care.
Tracy currently resides in Hampton Bays with her husband, John and their twin daughters Drew & Laura. Tracy impacts our community through her successful efforts to improve, increase, and advance the quality of life for senior adults as they age. The quality standards of Home Instead Senior Care are recognized nationwide and her agency sets the Standards of Excellence in our industry. She has raised the bar for all who provide care to seniors by insisting that her CAREGiving staff is educated, trained, and processed through many background checks and drug screening. In requiring this level of quality, Tracy allows hundreds of seniors and their families in Eastern Suffolk, The Hamptons and the North Fork to enjoy peace of mind, independence, and dignity. She is a hands-on owner who enjoys strong relationships with her employees and wants the lives of her staff to be enhanced through a positive work environment. This culture of respect and love for the seniors has an exponentially powerful and positive effect on our community.  .JPG) Christine Thorne- Staff and Schedule Manager Christine has been with us since 2010 and started with Home Instead as a Caregiver so she has a unique understanding of what our clients are looking for. Whether it is during the day, in the evening, or on a weekend, she looks forward to meeting with potential clients and developing an individualized care plan to meet their needs. Her goals are to keep seniors as independent as possible and allow them to control and make decisions that affect their own daily lives.
The thing that Christine enjoys the most about Home Instead Senior Care is meeting new people, whether it be potential clients or their adult children, educating them about the Home Instead Senior Care and the services that are available.   Beth Ann Long- Client Care Coordinator Beth Ann has recently joined the Home Instead Team as the Client Care Coordinator. She brings to our agency 32 years of experience as a Geriatric Social Worker. She is specialized as a discharge planner and has worked in several rehab facilities where she was responsible for arranging home care plans. Beth has a great understanding of the issues that affect our seniors at home. As a client care coordinator Beth Ann will assist with Service Inquiries and provide Quality Assurance home visits to ensure our clients are satisfied with the services they are receiving. Beth Ann will also be assisting with our continuing education and training of our caregivers, to assure that they are providing the best possible care to our clients. We are very excited to welcome Beth Ann to our team.
  Christina Urwand- CAREGiver Relations Manager Christina has recently joined the Home Instead Team, but brings several years of Human Resources and employee relations experience with her. Christina’s passion is developing trustworthy, reliable, and compassionate CAREGivers. She leads the charge in recruiting good CAREGivers and turning them into extraordinary Home Instead CAREGivers. Christina provides the education to ensure our CAREGivers are prepared to meet the needs of their clients.
Christina manages the CAREGiver application process which includes, reference checks, background checks including Social Security, MVR, and criminal background. She also processes and manages CAREGiver drug screenings.
