Home Instead Senior Care® of Northeastern Connecticut works very hard to keep rates as affordable as possible. Please note that generally rates are per hour and vary by the types of services provided.
We offer three categories of services to our clients: Companionship, Home Helper and Personal Care Services. Service can be arranged for as little as 2 consecutive hours in a day or as many as 24 hours per day, seven days a week, including holidays and weekends.
Flat rates are used for service periods of less than 3 consecutive hours and for 12-hour sleepover or awake night stays. Please ask us for more information about options for providing 24-hour care.
Mileage
When CAREGivers use their own vehicles to provide incidental transportation, the mileage incurred is billed at $.50 a mile (the 2011 I.R.S. reimbursement rate is $.51 per mile). No mileage is billed if incidental transportation is provided using the client’s vehicle.
Insurance Coverage
Some insurance policies (e.g., long term care policies) may cover certain in-home services. Please call our office to see if your insurance benefits include this type of coverage.
