The Clackamas County Home Instead Senior Care office is committed to working with the community to better the lives of our seniors. Seven years ago Home Instead Senior Care had an idea to create an annual Senior Gardening Day. This year marks our 7th annual Senior Gardening Day. We have not only partnered with Portland Nursery but also with Friends of the Portland Memory Garden to create an event like none other for our local seniors. This is an event you dont want to miss! Our seniors can expect the below at this event.
- Over 8 different gardening/craft stations that seniors can partcipate in
- Live Jazz Music. This year "Box of Chocolates" will be performing live for us during this event
- FREE Refreshments and Snacks
- Special Discounts on all items at the Portland Nursery during this event
This years Senior Gardening Day will by on September 14th from 1-5pm at the Division Street Portland Nursery.We look forward to seeing you all there!
