Our Inspiration
Karin and her husband, Rob Wolff, had always wanted to do something meaningful together; personal events pointed them toward Home Instead Senior Care. "I am an end user of this service," says Karin. "My husband was in the Coast Guard and we were stationed in California near my Mom and Dad, and my husband received orders to Cleveland. Months before we left, my mother was diagnosed with lung cancer and my Dad's health was poor as well. It was very stressful for our family to leave. I wanted to be there, but knew this was impossible since I needed to be with my husband and two children. My husband was unable to help because he was working long hours supporting hurricane Rita and Katrina rescue and cleanup operations. I wanted someone there for my parents, and this service was a blessing. It was after the passing of both of my parents that I realized that I wanted to be able to help others in this similar situation, and help seniors maintain their independence as long as possible."
After Karin's parents passed away, they researched Home Instead Senior Care and realized that they could help other families in Lorain County. Their focus is to exceed their client's expectation, and to provide exceptional support to their CAREGivers. It is through relationships they build with clients, CAREGivers, and the community that brings them great joy.
