Rob - Owner, GM
Rob is responsible for company financials, and oversees the daily operations. Because our CAREGivers are employees, not independent contractors, we assume all the responsibilities of handling taxes, benefits, scheduling, insurance, and workers, compensation. Each employee is bonded, insured, completes a drug screening and a professional background check prior to employment.
Rob is a retired Coast Guard Chief Warrant Officer with over 20 years of active duty service. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Leadership Studies from Bellevue University, NE.
Rob enjoys spending time with his kids, volunteers at the Second Harvest Food Bank of Lorain, and an avid runner.
Karin - RN, BSN, Owner, Director of Client Care & Marketing
Karin is Director of Client Care. Her responsibility is to ensure that we exceed our client's expectation. In addition, she handles our Quality Assurance program to ensure that every client gets the care and respect that they expect and deserve. She has volunteered as a board member for the Lorain County Office on Aging and is a member of the National Private Duty Association.
Karin holds a Bachelor's Degree in nursing from California State University, Sacramento, and has spent nearly 15 years in intensive care units. In addition, she is a Certified Dementia Practitioner. Karin's hobbies include quilting, sewing, and raising her two children, Austin and Emily. She is first generation Swedish and speaks Swedish fluently.
Marny - Community Service Representative
Marny is our community service representative. She is responsible for bringing the message and mission of Home Instead Senior Care into the community, working with local facilities, organizations and professionals throughout Lorain County. Marny provides education about senior issues, and makes sure that local professionals are always aware of the full scope of care and services available.
Marny holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from Bowling Green State University, Bowling Green Ohio.
Eva - Client Care Coordinator
Eva meets with seniors and their families to identify what type of assistance is needed and the timing of care that will work best for the client. Once the schedule for service is established, Eva returns to the client's home to introduce the CAREGivers and assure a smooth transition. Eva checks-in with clients and CAREGivers regularly to assure good matches and the best possible experience for all involved.
Eileen - Staff Coordinator
Eileen is responsible to effectively and quickly handle staffing and scheduling. She is extremely meticulous when it comes matching CAREGivers to clients. She ensures that every client gets the care that they expect and deserve.
Dee - Recruitment and Retention Coordinator
Dee is responsible for finding high quality candidates to become our CAREGivers, thoroughly screening them, and training them to take excellent care of our clients. If you are interested in becoming a CAREGiver, give Dee a call.
Beckie - Admin Assistant
Beckie provides invaluable assistance and backup to everyone in the office, and does it all with great flexibility. She is also responsible for our monthly CAREGiver newsletter, and is always ready, willing, and able to take on other tasks that keeps the office running smoothly.
Our CAREGivers encourage, assist and stimulate our clients in a variety of daily activities that improve their quality of life and help them maintain their independence. They are the backbone of our company! Our staff is available 24/7 to support them. All of our CAREGivers share a common desire to make a difference in the life of a senior.
