Involvement in the Local Waco Community
Our office has been involved in the local community in a number of ways:
Shredding Event - We partnered with a local shredding company, Cen-Tex Shred Solutions, to sponsor a shredding event to give seniors and their families an opportunity to get rid of some clutter in their homes consisting of old financial or tax documents that some have had for many years. Walk to End Alzheimer's - Home Instead Senior Care is a major sponsor of the Walk to End Alzheimer's every year and on a local level we have a team that participates in the walk and helps to raise much needed funds for the Alzheimer's Association.
Meals on Wheels - We participate in delivering meals to seniors throughout the Waco community.
Be a Santa to a Senior - Since 2009 we have partnered on a local level with Walgreens, Meals & Wheels, Salvation Army, VA Hospital, Area Agency on Aging, and other organizations with the purpose of giving people in Waco an opportunity to buy gifts for over 200 seniors in the area that are in financial need or do not have family in the area to give them gifts.
