Rates
Home Instead Senior Care® works very hard to keep rates as affordable as possible while maintaining the highest quality of care and compassion for our clients. We will work with each client and family to come up with a customized plan of care based upon their individual needs and budgetary limitations. Please contact our office to set up a free care consultation where we can provide you with a quote for services.
Hourly Service
Companionship, Home Helper and Personal Care Services are charged per hour and are grouped under a single rate called Hourly Service. Hourly Service can be arranged for as little as 3 consecutive hours in a day or as many as 24 hours per day, seven days a week, including holidays and weekends.
Specialized Care
Some clients may require a higher level of attention and personalized care due to later stage dementia, intense interactions with the Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) like bathing, toileting, transferring, and other such services. Specialized care is also charged at an hourly rate but may be higher than the basic hourly service rate. This determination can only be made after a customized plan of care is established.
Flat Rate Services
We offer discounted flat rates for 24-hour care and 12-hour sleepover stays.
Veteran Affairs Caregiving Benefits
Have you or your loved one served in the armed forces and qualify for some form of VA healthcare coverage? Home Instead Senior Care of the North Olympic Peninsula is an authorized VA Home Care provider. If you think you may be eligible for home care coverage through the VA please contact us and we will help you through the process of applying for these benefits. For more information about the types of coverage available through the Veteran's Affairs please see their Caregiver Support Website at http://www.caregiver.va.gov/.
Insurance Coverage
Most long term care insurance policies cover certain in-home services. For most policies, you will need a physician's order for two or more Activities of Daily Living, or ADLs, to qualify for benefits. See Personal Services for a list of the types of services that qualify as ADLs. Please call our office to see if your long term care insurance policy includes this type of coverage.
Medicare does not cover home care services since all services are non-medical. Nor do we participate in Medicaid/Department of Social and Health Services home care programs.
