Be A Santa To A Senior
Each year our office participates in the BASTAS program. The program is designed to help those seniors in the community that may not have social interaction or human contact during the Christmas season. Gifts are provided to seniors from members of our generous community. The names are given to our office from local nursing homes, and senior communities of those in need, those who have no family, and those who would not get a gift this holiday season.
It is always a pleasure to do this each year, as we see the smiles on the recipient’s faces when they realize they have not been “forgotten”. Each year our request for gifts increases. The wishes of these seniors are humbling-simple items like, sweaters, soap, toothbrushes and the list continues. Each year our office is blessed through this program and the generosity of others!
