Home Instead Senior Care of Ocala has the knowledge and expertise in order to provide information and assistance regarding the VA Aid and Attendance benefit program. We fully understand the application and qualification process. Nearly two million veterans or their widows are not taking advantage of this program.
Veterans can qualify for this Improved Pension Benefit with only 90 days of continuous active duty military service with only one day during declared wartime. Any discharge other than a dishonorable discharge qualifies for the benefit. Recipients must be 65 years old, disabled and meet certain financial qualifications.
