Barbara Imholt – Office Manager, Staff Coordinator
"As a Staff Coordinator, there is nothing more rewarding for me than to see a bond form between a client and a CAREGiver. Their relationship is unique and special. The pinnacle of my position as staff coordinator is to know that I am helping to bring an isolated senior who may otherwise not be able to stay at home, together with a loving and compassionate CAREGiver. The client looks forward to our CAREGivers arrival because they know that there will be someone to talk with, dine with, take a walk with and perhaps comfort them while they are waiting for their doctor’s appointments.
I count my blessings every day knowing that I have a wonderful team of CAREGivers to work with. I am fortunate that they trust me with their issues and concerns, as well as sharing happy occasions. I have witnessed more personal selfless acts of good deeds performed in the past three years by our CAREGivers than I have ever witnessed before. Their actions reflect the true spirit and motivation of Home Instead Senior Care, 'to us it's personal...."

It is my goal to make Home Instead Senior Care stand out above the rest by hiring and training our Caregivers to give the highest quality service to our clients. I believe it can be a rewarding experience for both the Caregiver and the client. I always treated each client as I would if they were my own parent or grandparent. I enjoyed listening and learning from their past memories as they shared them. I tried to make each day happy and fun, and received far more back then I gave. So, it is my passion to find Caregivers who have a servant’s heart for seniors.” Lyn has lived in Florida for 25 years and moved to Ocala several years ago to be near family. When not spending time with family and friends she is very active in her Church on the Hospitality Team. She has served as a deputy sheriff and has years of accounting and office administration experience before moving to the Ocala area. Laurie Heath - Administrative Assistant As Administrative Assistant for the Ocala, Florida Home Instead Senior Care office, Laurie’s voice is the first one the public hears as she greets those who call in on the phone and walk in the door. She reflects the core values of Home Instead as she greets the public as well as our CAREGivers, future CAREGivers, and Clients. In addition to being the voice of our office, Laurie’s duties are many, including publishing flyers, brochures and assisting with scheduling. Laurie worked as a receptionist prior to joining Home Instead so when the opportunity became available and Laurie was offered the position she was overjoyed. “I had witnessed time and time again of their genuine passion for what they do, and the obvious way they care about their CAREGivers, staff, and clients. I always desired to work for an office and a company where positive values are demonstrated throughout the team. I knew this was the place for me!” Laurie was born in Detroit Michigan but has resided in Ocala for the past 36 years. She has two daughters along with two granddaughters. She married Aussey in 2003 and through marriage inherited two more daughters, six sons and ten more grandchildren!
