Home Instead Senior Care was awarded the “2010 Business of the Year” recognition by the Ocala/Marion County Chamber of Commerce at the annual Stars over Ocala Business Recognition Awards Program. The program was held at the Ocala Civic Theatre on February 15th, 2011. The award recognizes businesses who exemplify the mission of the Ocala/Marion County Chamber of Commerce “to improve the business climate, economy and quality of life in Ocala/Marion County”. Home Instead Senior Care was awarded this recognition for our commitment to serving our clients, CAREGivers and the Ocala community.

Jim Samuelson was named "New Business Person of the Year" by the Ocala/Marion County Chamber of Commerce at the 2007 Stars over Ocala Business Recognition Awards Event. This event honors businesses whose ingenuity, hard work and innovation have created and promoted a successful and growing business in the Ocala/Marion County community. Jim was also named a "2007 Outstanding Volunteer" by the Chamber of Commerce.
Jim Samuelson was named a Paul Harris Fellow by the Ocala Rotary Club in 2009. The Paul Harris Fellow recognition is named after Paul P. Harris, founder of Rotary International. Paul Harris formed the world’s first service club, the Rotary Club of Chicago, on 23 February 1905. Today, Paul Harris Fellows support The Rotary Foundation which provide a wide range of humanitarian grants and educational programs that enable Rotarians to bring hope and promote international understanding and goodwill.
