The Reno office of Home Instead Senior Care is owned by Allan and Tracy Ward Joni Gooch-Business Office Manager/Recruitment Coordinator Joni has been with the Reno Home Instead Senior Care office since July 2005. Her 15 years of experience providing quality customer service for the seniors in our community in both the durable medical and insurance industries have proven invaluable to the growth of our organization. She anchors our Reno office operations handling human resources, payroll, accounts payable, and office administration. Her true passion lies in her role as Recruitment Coordinator, hiring and training the very best CAREGivers in our industry to provide the highest quality care available.   Nova Wood-General Manager Nova is the General Manager of the Carson City office and has spent the majority of her life working closely with elders. Receiving her CNA certification at the age of sixteen in Montana, she worked for a home health care agency and quickly became captivated by her client’s stories and wealth of knowledge. Nova credits much of her success to the guidance and wisdom of the remarkable seniors she has had the pleasure to serve. She is a graduate of Pepperdine University and most recently has worked as an eldercare educator, conducting seminars nationwide on the importance of planning for long term care. She is a Certified Long Term Care Consultant and has coached workforce populations on the value of balancing work productivity while caregiving for loved ones. Additionally, she is an expert in the field of long term care insurance. Nova donates her time to the aging community and is the Vice President of the Senior Service Network, a local non-profit group dedicated to helping seniors in dire financial need. Nova continues to be blessed working for Home Instead Senior Care and strives to build a culture of love and respect for the seniors who receive care.   Sandi TenBoer-Director of Community Relations and Marketing Sandi is our Director of Community Relations and Marketing in our Reno office. After retiring from the U.S. Air Force, Sandi decided that working with seniors would be her next career. Having cared for an ailing grandmother for over 4 years, Sandi found out firsthand what it means to be a caregiver. Trying to raise three children, maintain a career and caring for an ailing senior, Sandi definitely understands what so many others are experiencing. She takes helping a family find the best solution for their own unique situation quite personally. Sandi also possesses a unique talent; while in the Air Force Sandi was the lead vocalist in the USAF Band. She shares that talent with seniors all over our community, performing concerts of songs from the 30’s, 40’s, 50’s and 60’s, bringing back great memories for our seniors. To say she is uniquely perfect for this position is really an understatement. When Home Instead developed their tag line, “To us, it’s personal”, they must have had her in mind.   Joan Hall-Community Service Representative Joan is the Community Service Representative in the Carson City office. Joan began caregiving in 2001 in Carson City and immediately knew she was meant to be in home care. She had a great warm fuzzy feeling from being able to help. After a few years she decided there may be more she can learn about people and the home care business. She is now the face in the Carson City and surrounding areas for Home Instead Senior Care. In her position Joan acts as a liaison between Physicians, Case Managers, Social Workers, and clients. She is the touch point for the clients and the CAREGivers, making sure introductions are smooth and well orchestrated. She makes sure the care plans are reviewed and understood by the CAREGivers, that way they can properly perform the duties expected of them with confidence. Joan is crazy about Home Care and Home Instead is a great company to work for! She is proud to part of the care continuum team!   Rori Lee-Client Care Manager Rori is the Client Care Manager for the Reno/Sparks Home Instead Senior Care office. Rori began caregiving at a very young age, helping her parents care for her special needs sibling. Doing so has instilled in her a constant caregiving mentality. Rori moved to Reno in 2000 and has grown to love the area and its people. Before joining the Home Instead Staff Rori worked and taught at the University of Nevada, Reno where she also received her Master of Science in Human Development and Family Studies: Adult Development and Aging and is a candidate for her Master of Public Health (graduating August 2011) in Social and Behavioral Health. Rori has deeply enjoyed joining the Home Instead Senior Care team. At the Reno office she introduces client to CAREGiver, conducts quality assurance visits with clients and families, performs supervisory visits with CAREGivers, speaks and interacts with members of each care team to assure the evolution of client’s care plans meet the needs of all involved, coaches and offers continuing training to CAREGivers, and ensures that Home Instead Senior Care provides the best possible care to the elders in Reno and the surrounding areas.
  Jennifer Stansbury-Client Care Coordinator Jennifer is our Client Care Coordinator in the Carson City office. Jennifer has been in the medical field for over 14yrs. She has taken on several roles through the years in retirement, assisted living communities and convalescent homes as well as provided hands on care herself as a CNA. Jennifer impacts our clients and CAREGivers through her successful efforts to improve, increase and advance the quality of life and care to older adults as they age. More importantly; Jennifer has been through the family care giving scenarios that we are often presented with. She knows personally the difficult decisions that family members face as they try their best to navigate the senior care maze in an effort to provide care to their loved ones. Quality assurance visits, listening to and problem solving for families, as well as coaching and training CAREGivers describes a large part of what Jennifer does each day. She is active and hands-on in the lives of our clients, and makes the care Home Instead delivers very personal.   Amy Morley-Staffing/Billing Coordinator Amy is the Staffing/Billing Coordinator for both the Reno and Carson City offices. She came to Home Instead in December 2009 with 10 years of customer service experience in the legal and hospitality sectors. Amy’s is the first smiling face you will see upon entering or calling our offices. She is responsible for all invoicing and accounts receivable; and shares in staffing duties for both the Reno and Carson City offices. Amy’s high quality interactions with clients, CAREGivers, and families aid in assuring the very best experience with Home Instead Senior Care possible. |
