Here at Home Instead Senior Care it is important to us to be involved in our local community.  Below are some of the ways we participate and give back to our community. 

Be A Santa to a Senior

Since 2005, Home Instead Senior Care has participated in the much loved “Be a Santa to a Senior” program. 

Area merchants and organizations “host” a Christmas tree.  We collect the names of seniors in the local community who would like to receive a gift.  Members of the community visit the local organizations and take an ornament with a “gift request”.  We host a big gift wrapping event at our office and then deliver the gifts. 

Local seniors come from Attleboro, Mansfield, Dighton, Taunton and other communities.  This is a great way to give back to seniors who have given us so much.

Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk

Home Instead of Northern Bristol County also participates in the Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk.  Since 2006 we have been teaming up with our neighboring office in North Dartmouth to raise money for Alzheimer's.  In the past we have had a yard sale to help with fundraising.  We are also donating $1 for every new "like" on our Facebook page, which is then matched by Home Instead Senior Care.  The walk takes place in Fall River at Bristol Community College every September.  This is a picture from our 2011 walk with all office staff and our Home Instead Senior Care dog, Ella.
