Gift-wrapping for seniors appreciated

To the editor:

Home Instead Senior Care would like to thank those shoppers and donors that supported our senior citizens through the "Be A Santa To A Senior Program."

Teaming up with the area office of Home Instead Senior Care this year was the Mansfield Housing Authority, Prime Time Adult Day Health in Dighton, Bethany House in Taunton, Hillside Adult Day Health of Attleboro, The Village at Willow Crossing in Mansfield, Epoch Senior Living in Norton, Curves of Mansfield and the Tri-Town Chamber of Commerce, as well as Quality Van Sales of Norton and Bank of America to provide presents and special visits to local seniors who otherwise might have been overlooked this holiday season. A very successful gift-wrapping party was held on Saturday, Dec. 11 at the Home Instead Senior Care Office in Attleboro. Delivery of the gifts will begin on Dec. 21 (volunteers are welcome; call 508-222-0800). Thanks to all those who enthusiastically supported our seniors in a concerted effort to make their Christmas a joyous one.
