Our Home Instead Senior Care business was developed with a passionate desire to be your trusted source in helping your family keep your aging mother, father, grandparents or friends in their home as they grow older.  After 25 years of service to the eldercare inpatient community, I (finally!) responded to a calling to serve folks on the other side of the road. 

It's that simple. This is all we do and because the home care services your loved one or friend needs must come from someone you trust locally, the Lancaster Home Instead Senior Care office is passionate about exceeding the needs of the elderly in our community. We're not a giant corporation run from the top down - we're a community-based, friendly and responsive office right here in Lancaster.  Susan, my life-time partner, Doug our son, and I take the trust that's been shared with us by Clients, families, and our dedicated associates very personally and very seriously.

Today, many relationships are formed daily through reliable, responsible, trained and compassionate CAREGivers who provide home care to clients and their families who desire assistance with activities that used to be simple. Tasks like grabbing a can of soup from the top shelf, opening the mail, reading a book, folding laundry, tying shoelaces or scrapbooking family history are not as easy as they used to be for many seniors.

No matter where our Clients call home, (in their own homes, in assisted living facilities or even nursing homes), Home Instead Senior Care is currently providing thousands of hours of senior home care services annually to the Lancaster area.  These home care services may include assistance with trips to the doctor, reminders to take the right medication at the right time, meal preparation, light housekeeping, bathing, incontinence assistance, errands, shopping and even Alzheimer's care. The result is companionship allowing folks to feel safe and independent while they age in place in the home they've lived in for years.
