 Rob and Shelley Brown - Franchise Owners In 1995, Rob graduated Cum Laude from Tennessee Technological University with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration. He also holds a CPA certificate of which he specialized in the health care field. Shelley, as well, received a Bachelors degree in Sociology from Tennessee Technological University and a Masters degree from Middle Tennessee State University. Shelley is a Certified Gerontologist. In September 2004, the Home Instead Senior Care franchise was established for the Upper Cumberland. Rob runs the day to day operations of the Crossville and Cookeville offices. In addition to Shelley's many duties, she facilitates the specialized training for Home Instead Senior Care's Alzheimer program and currently teaches Sociology, Aging Studies, and Race and Ethics at TTU.
Rob and Shelley have been married since 1998 and have two precious boys-Dylan and Austin.
Rob and Shelley believe it is a privilege to be a part of someone's life and play a role in assisting them in remaining independent. They want to insure successful aging and a quality of life for our aging Americans today and in the future.   Martin and Debbie Smith - Franchise Owners Martin and Debbie have been married for 39 years. They have two daughters, Leslie and Shelley. Martin is a graduate of the University of Alabama - Birmingham, and has 41 years of experience in Business Planning and Senior Management. They have lived in Cookeville for 30 years where they raised their children. The most gratifying part of what they do at Home Instead Senior Care is being able to allow seniors to maintain a fulfilled quality of life with dignity.
Martin and Debbie work each day to ensure that their office has the most competent and caring staff in our market to guarantee our clients the best service available. They hire and train CAREGivers that are experienced in the services they provide, and that care about their clients and their families. They strive to ensure that their community has the most trusted non-medical homecare by putting their clients needs first and foremost.   Renee Smith - General Manager
Renee has been with Home Instead Senior Care since March of 2006. She was a CAREGiver for a year before taking an office position as Recruitment and Retention Coordinator. She was then promoted to Service Coordinator, Office Manager, and now her role is General Manager for the Cookeville and Crossville operations. She was born and raised in Cookeville, but now resides in Baxter. She has four children with one still living at home.
Renee is passionate about helping seniors maintain their independence. With Renee's promotion to General Manager, she oversees the operations of the Cookeville and Crossville offices. Some of her duties include managing the CAREGivers, arranging schedules, and ensuring compatiblity between the clients and their CAREGivers. All these duties help assure the families that their loved ones are being taken care of around the clock. When Renee thinks of Home Instead Senior Care, she thinks Caring, Compassionate, Loyal, and Trustworthy. Renee has a strong desire to give back to seniors as they have given to others all their lives. She loves that she is helping people to stay in their homes as long as possible.   Kim Driver - Community Service Director Kim lives in Cookeville with her husband and two children. She is a graduate of Tennessee Technological University where she received her Bachelors degree. She has been with Home Instead Senior Care since 2005. She is active in her community by volunteering for the Alzheimer's Association and she is also the director for the Be A Santa To A Senior program which is sponsored by Home Instead Senior Care.
To Kim, Home Instead Senior Care is a resource for seniors. She strives to educate the public that there are options out there, and ways to live home longer and maintain independence. She provides the public with educational programs which cover topics such as caregiver stress, how to start difficult conversations with senior parents, and even healthy recipes for special diets. Kim is proud to be a part of the Home Instead Senior Care team and truly believes that her company provides the highest quality of care to the seniors of the Upper Cumberland.
  Peggy Coble - Staff Coordinator Peggy lives in Crossville with her husband of 13 years and her three sons. She is very active in her church and community. She has been a CNA since 2005, and has been with Home Instead Senior Care since 2008, starting as a CAREGiver; she was soon promoted to Recruitment and Retention Coordinator, and now she is now Staffing Coordinator. Her duties include managing the CAREGivers, arranging schedules, and ensuring compatiblity between the clients and their CAREGivers.
Peggy enjoys working for Home Instead Senior Care because of the respect and compassion that the company has for seniors. She is devoted to searching out the most compassionate and dependable CAREGivers to care for the clients. Peggy has a goal to help everyone who comes through the doors at Home Instead Senior Care. This consists of providing extraordinary care for the clients and giving the clients the perfect CAREGiver. She also wants to provide an atmosphere where CAREGivers know they are deeply appreciated and welcomed.   Penni LaChance - Staff Coordinator Penni has been with Home Instead Senior Care since April of 2011. She was born and raised in Florida but has lived in Cookeville, TN for the past year with her husband and her teenage daughter. She was hired as the Recruitment and Retention Coordinator for the Crossville office and has been recently promoted to Staff Coordinator. She is responsible for the staffing, scheduling and overall responsibilities of our Crossville CAREGivers.
Since losing her grandmother last year and caring for her own grandfather, Penni feels it is extremely important to hire the best CAREGivers to care for Home Instead Senior Care clients, as if she were hiring someone to care for her own family.   Chrissey Wanamaker - Retention Coordinator Chrissey became a CAREGiver with Home Instead Senior Care in April of 2011. She was quickly promoted to Administrative Assistant in July of 2011 and now as Retention Coordinator she is responsible for managing and retaining our Crossville CAREGivers. Chrissey lives in Crossville with her to wonderful children Mica and Emily.
After growing up with a special needs brother, she decided Home Instead Senior Care would be a perfect place for her to share her experience and compassion for people.   Heather Caruthers - Recruitment Coordinator
Heather joined the Home Instead Senior Care team in 2011. For six years before his passing, she was a caregiver for her Grandfather. This experience gave her the passion to care for Seniors. Heather came on board with Home Instead Senior Care quickly promoted to the office staff position of Administrative Assistant and now as a Recruitment Coordinator for our Crossville office.
She believes in Home Instead Senior Care and what it means to the lives of so many seniors in the Upper Cumberland area and is thrilled to be part the Crossville Home Instead Senior Care team.   Rachel Smith - Client Care Coordinator
Rachel is a graduate of the nursing program at Tennessee Tech University. She has worked as a CAREGiver with Home Instead Senior Care and has been promoted to a Client Care Coordinator position for our Crossville office. Rachel is happy about the opportunity to work with Home Instead Senior Care clients, their families, and their CAREGivers to ensure the highest quality of service is provided.
One of Rachel’s many roles as the Client Care Coordinator is to focus on the individual needs of families and clients by developing tailored Care Plans to ensure their satisfaction, safety, and independence. Throughout a family's relationship with Home Instead Senior Care, Rachel monitors those Care Plans through quality assurance visits and regular communication with family members and their loved ones.   Jamie Staub - Community Service Representative
Jamie is a graduate from Tennessee Tech University where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in May of 2011. Jamie attended Tennessee Tech and has truly grown to love the Upper Cumberland. Jamie has been with Home Instead Senior Care since January of 2012. She is active in her community and especially with Clarksville – Camp Rainbow where she spends a week every summer to enhance the lives of disabled children.
As a Community Service Representative, Jamie’s responsibilities include managing social media campaigns and marketing specifically to the Crossville area. She is very passionate about promoting the genuine care that Home Instead Senior Care has to offer the Upper Cumberland area. Jamie finds that Home Instead Senior Care is committed to offering exceptional care for the seniors in the Upper Cumberland and she is proud to be a part of that on a daily basis. |
