 Teryl McCaffrey, RN, GCM – Director of Operations
Teryl McCaffrey graduated from Western Pennsylvania Hospital School of Nursing and attended Pennsylvania State University for Nursing. She brings more than thirty years of experience in serving older adults in a variety of settings. As a member of the Home Instead Senior Care team, Teryl manages the business and clinical operations for Home Instead Senior Care. As a human services specialist she coordinates a team of professionals to work with clients and family members to develop and manage personalized Plans of Care that help older adults attain their maximum potentials in the place they call home. Teryl finds this position rewarding because Home Instead Senior Care is able to support clients and families at home while providing meaningful career opportunities to employees. Teryl is married and has four grown children, a son serving in the U.S. Air Force, two daughters pursuing careers in healthcare, and another daughter who has found a place in the Human Resource Department at Home Instead Senior Care.   Cindy Tomaro – Client Care Coordinator
Cindy supports our CAREGivers and clients through on-site visits and quality reviews. She meets with families and potential clients to update and establish new care plans. Cindy’s primary responsibility is to act as a liaison for clients and their families and CAREGivers ensuring that the needs of all the parties are being correctly addressed. Cindy states, “Working with seniors and their families is such a great fit for me. I am very passionate about helping people stay independent and living at home, for as long as possible. I love being able to support the team in achieving compassionate and quality care for our clients. Besides working at Home Instead, I am a devoted mother and wife, I love to travel and to spend as much time outdoors as I can, and I am blessed with supportive family and friends.”   Lynn McGuire, RN – Training Supervisor/Contract Client Manager
Lynn currently oversees clients who are associated with our Pennsylvania Department of Aging and our Veterans Administration Programs. She is in charge of ensuring that all ongoing nursing assessments are accurate and up to date. Lynn also teaches all of the in-house CAREGiver personal care, CPR and First Aide courses. Lynn describes her love of her nursing career with Home Instead as “the ability to provide individual care to each and every one of her clients. I feel with Home Instead, that I do make a difference.” Lynn was a Radio Operator in the United States Air Force, and then graduated from the Community College of Allegheny County, as a Registered Nurse where she worked for a local Rehabilitation Hospital for many years. She describes this experience as enabling her to empathize with clients and families’ need to keep their loved ones in their own homes. When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time at her family cabin in Punxytawny. She is married to her high school sweetheart, and they have 2 grown children.   Rebecca Champagne, MPIA – Human Resource Coordinator
Rebecca Champagne received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Bucknell University and her Master’s Degree from University of Pittsburgh. While completing her degree at the University of Pittsburgh, she fell in love with the city of Pittsburgh and its residents and has been living here ever since! Rebecca has over 10 years experience in Human Resources and Recruiting. In her role at Home Instead Senior Care, Rebecca recruits CAREGivers, oversees a comprehensive training program, and organizes CAREGiver retention events. Rebecca is grateful for the opportunity to work in such a rewarding environment with truly compassionate and dedicated CAREGivers!   Lauren McCaffrey, B.S. – Human Resource Assistant, On Call Supervisor
Lauren McCaffrey received her Bachelor’s Degree in Musical Theater and Business from Indiana University. She joined Home Instead Senior Care in 2007 as a member of the Human Resource Team. Lauren performs a variety of clerical and administrative duties for Home Instead Senior Care that assist both CAREGivers and clients as well as assisting in the smooth flow of company operations. As an on call supervisor, her understanding of the daily operations helps maintain seamless quality services to our clients and CAREGivers after hours. Lauren continues her love of theater by performing in productions in and around the Pittsburgh area.   Jeremy Venanzi, B.S. – Community Service Representative
Jeremy Venanzi received his Bachelor of Science degree from Clarion University, with a major in Rehabilitation Sciences and Gerontology and minor in Psychology and Sociology. He brings more than 15 years of experience in serving older adults in a variety of care settings. As a member of the Home Instead Senior Care team, Jeremy reaches out to referral sources in the community marketing Home Instead Senior Care. He enjoys educating professionals, community members and families on the benefit of receiving care in their own home. Home Instead Senior Care is able to provide care and support in the least restrictive setting possible. Jeremy finds his position rewarding because Home Instead Senior Care is able to support clients and their families in their homes where they want to be. Jeremy lives in Plum Borough with his wife and their two daughters.   Kelly Kelley – Staff Coordinator, On Call Supervisor
Kelly Kelley brings 18 years of experience in serving older adults in a variety of settings. As a member of the Home Instead Senior Care team, Kelly has found her niche and is primarily responsible to coordinate and schedule the service requests for all of our clients and CAREGivers. Kelly states, “Scheduling is more that just filling a shift. I really enjoy coordinating a compatible match that supports the strengths and interests of both our clients and our CAREGivers. Ultimately my job makes everyone happy; clients, CAREGivers, office staff. That is a nice feeling.” As an on call supervisor, Kelly’s understanding of the daily operations helps her to smoothly manage after hour client/CAREGiver issues. Kelly is a lifelong resident of Turtle Creek. She enjoys spending time with her three children and two grandchildren. |
