Home Instead Senior Care
Napa Solano Counties

I want to thank you so much for your attention to detail and let you know how very much we appreciate the flexibility of your staff. Every caregiver you have sent our way has been especially wonderful, professional and most of all caring. We find the caregivers easy to work with and enjoy their company as much as my mom does.

Candy Smith - Owner

Candy opened this Home Instead Senior Care office in 2003, with a desire to have a positive impact on the lives of the elderly in our community. Her compassion for seniors grew early on as a teen-aged volunteer at a local nursing home. She has an extensive background in business and services management, and enjoys utilizing this expertise in bringing joy and relieving stress for Seniors and their families.

“Combining my love of Senior’s with my heart for service has been a very natural progression for me. I am honored every day to meet and assist our Senior’s and their families. Creating positive and high quality relationships, lending a hand with daily tasks, and bringing a smile and ready ear to someone – how very lovely to have a positive impact, one person at a time! To me, it’s personal!”

Janet Willis – Staffing Coordinator

Janet is responsible for scheduling, invoicing and payroll. She works closely with both our CAREGivers and our Clients to ensure that all shifts are covered, and that we have the right CAREGiver working with the right Client.

Janet has over 15 years of experience working with the youth, disabled and senior population. She began working at Home Instead Senior Care in 2006. “I’ve always had a passion to work with others and help them to obtain goals they have in their lives. Having our clients being able to stay in their homes, and knowing there is a great CAREGiver there with them to help keep their independence is so very rewarding. To me, it’s personal!”

Laura McLaren – Community Services Representative

Laura is responsible for our community outreach, as well as working with our Clients to ensure that they receive the highest quality of care.

Laura has a wide background ranging from working within Assisted Living and Memory Care communities to arranging end of life care. “I feel I am blessed to be in the home care industry where we help people to remain in their homes. Families can rest assured that their loved ones are getting experienced, well-trained, passionate and supervised care. Home Instead is where I want to be, because Home Instead is where seniors want to be. To me, it’s personal!”

Richelle Brown – Recruiting and Retention Coordiantor

Richelle is responsible for the recruiting and retaining the excellent CAREGivers who work with our Clients. She works closely with our CAREGiver’s to identify training needs, and organizes the implementation of our training programs.

Richelle joined Home Instead Senior Care as a CAREGiver and worked with a variety of clients. In 2008 she joined our office team.

“I have a passion for what I do. Finding the right CAREGiver for your loved one is something I feel is very personal and plays a key part in their quality of life. To me, it’s personal!”
Paul and Lori Hogan

It All Started With Our Founders

Lori and Paul Hogan, Home Instead Senior Care Co-Founders
It was Paul and Lori Hogan’s own experience caring for Paul's grandmother in her home for 12 years that inspired them to launch Home Instead Senior Care in 1994. Realizing that there were others families like theirs that needed help to keep their loved ones safely living at home, they have devoted themselves to making home care available throughout the U.S. and around the world. It’s what they know and love, and their services allow them to make a real difference to communities, families and individuals everywhere.

Caring Is What We Do

The Hogans’ goal has always been to provide the highest-quality care in the industry, and your local team shares the same vision of being your trusted partner in care. Every Home Instead Senior Care franchise owner has demonstrated a real commitment to caring for seniors and derives personal satisfaction by responding to this critical need that is growing so rapidly.

Our CAREGiversSM Are at the Heart of It All

Our CAREGivers are residents of the local area who are carefully screened, fully bonded and insured. Each takes part in our exclusive multi-phase training and we place a high priority on matching our CAREGivers with our clients to help develop a bond that will foster independence, promote well being and support the senior’s needs with respect and dignity.

Our Guiding Principles
The Home Instead Senior Care franchise network embraces the following core values
held by the Home Office and demonstrated by our commitment to seniors:
To honor God in all we do.
To treat each other with dignity and respect.
To encourage growth in ourselves and others.
To build value in our service to others.
