Leslie Cabral- Director

A graduate of CSULB in Medical Microbiology, Leslie worked as a Medical Technologist for over 5 years, then in Medical Sales and later Regional Sales Director for over 10 years before opening the Downey HISC office in 2003. Her passion for caring for seniors and their families only deepened when she took care of her own ill father until the last days of his life. She knows what’s needed to be a great CG as well as the compassionate needs of the client and their family. Leslie continues to be involved in detail with day-to-day operations of the office to ensure the highest quality care is provided to seniors in the community.

Lina Floresca- Office Manager

Lina has been with the Downey office almost since its conception in 2003. She previously worked at Honda, Hewlett Packard and Medical Pathways before coming to HISC. Lina oversees the daily operations in the office and does a bit of everything from the hiring and training of CAREGiver's, to client in-home consultations to serving coffee and donuts to the CAREGiver's on paydays! Lina’s first hand personal experience caring for her ill mother to the very end of her mother's life, has given her the knowledge, understanding and compassion that it takes to care for a loved one. Her dedication, commitment and compassion has given her the understanding of what is needed to provide high quality care to seniors and their families.

Genevieve Poblete- Staff Coordinator

Gen is the newest addition to our staff and came on board in January 2011. She graduated from Adamson University in Manila, Philippines with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering. Gen has worked as a Senior Product Specialist for Toshiba Notebook PC handling corporate accounts such as Microsoft, Intel Corp., Oracle, Bank of America among others. She is a people-person and is a born CAREGiver. Growing up she took care of her grandparents and helped her parents raise her siblings. She worked as a Caregiver herself before coming to Home Instead Senior Care. Her experience will be a big plus selecting only the best Caregivers for our clients and in matching the Caregiver’s chosen with our clients. She is a pleasant addition to our team.

Stefani Poblete- Marketing Support

Stefani started with Home Instead Senior Care in 2008 as administrative support and bookkeeping. She took time off to finish her schooling and now has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Pepperdine University. She has returned to the Downey Home Instead office as Marketing Support to deliver our message to our seniors, our providers and the Downey community. In her spare time, Stefani loves to dance Salsa and Bachata and is on the dance team Paso Del Oro. Her love of dance exudes to her radiant and upbeat personality which will make an impact in our marketing department.

Tina Djuvstad- Administrative Support

Tina has been with HISC for a total of over 3 years. She took a year off from work to care for her ill-stricken husband until the end and she is now primary CG for her 93 year old mother. She knows from personal experience that it takes patience, compassion and dedication to be the best CG in providing care to a loved one. Tina does a bit of everything from reference checks, setting up orientation, training and scheduling interviews to name a few. Tina's passion for helping seniors and their families has made a difference to the Downey team.
