HOME HELPER/COMPANIONS
Home Helper/Companions provide a variety of services which may include: companionship and conversation; arranging and providing transportation to appointments; medication reminders; organizing mail; playing cards /games; light housekeeping; helping with laundry; changing linens; making beds; preparing grocery lists; planning meals; preparing and cleaning up meals; picking-up prescriptions; assisting with pet care; helping with grocery shopping and errands; checking for food expiration dates and keeping the refrigerator clean. These are some of the many services CAREGivers can provide. As a licensed provider of home care, all CAREGivers shall be able to speak, read and write English. You must have a valid drivers license and a vehicle to provide transportation for the senior.

PERSONAL CARE
Our Personal Care CAREGivers provide all the services of the Home Helper/Companion position, but also help with bathing, grooming, incontinence care, dressing, eating and toileting. To provide personal care services, you must have a home health aide certificate with 120 hours of training from a certified Virginia school, be a CNA (certified nurse’s asst.), LPN or RN. As a licensed provider of home care, all CAREGivers shall be able to speak, read and write English.
