Helping Seniors in the Lubbock Area for Years

The Lubbock office of Home Instead Senior Care is owned by Tech grads Terry and Tracy Baugh. They have served the South Plains area with quality non-medical services since 1993. 

"We are passionate about meeting the needs of our elderly neighbors," explains Terry. "We specialize in non-medical care and see our business as an opportunity for outreach."

"We are also involved in community service," says Tracy who is the President of the Texas chapter of the National Private Duty Association (NPDA), a member of the Texas Association for Home Care (TAHC), past President of the South Plains Home Care Association, a board member for the Adult Protective Services Silver Star Board, and is a member of the Staff Parish Relation Committee at LakeRidge United Methodist Church. 

Additionally, Home Instead Senior Care supports many local non-profits like Meals on Wheels, The American Diabetes Association, the Alzheimer's Association, and Back Yard Missions. 

The Lubbock office also has its own community service initiatives including Operation Medicine Cabinet and Be a Santa to a Senior in which many deserving seniors are served.

The in-home assistance services include companionship, assistance with trips to the doctor, meal preparation, errands, help with hygiene and personal care like dressing and showering, protective supervision and even Alzheimer's care and respite. 

The CAREGiver applicants are carefully chosen for character and skills to insure the best quality care. The applicants undergo a thorough background check including criminal history and driver's record checks, social security verification, and a pre-employment drug screen. Other checks include references, and Nurse's Aid and Misconduct Registry checks. 

Home Instead Senior Care is a full employment agency and is responsible for paying taxes and insurance for its employees. They also have full on-going training for their CAREGivers and are responsible for all employment matters for the security of clients and their families.
