Mission Medicine Program

Took place Saturday, April 30th from 10:00am to 2:00pm
Market Street at 50th & Indiana Ave.

United Supermarkets and the Lubbock County Sheriff Office has partnered together with Home Instead Senior Care to protect seniors from expired, unused and potential harmful drugs. The last Mission Medicine event, we collected about 100 lbs of drug for the Lubbock County Sheriff Department to dispose of them in an environmentally safe way. For more information please call our office at 806-281-4663.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step Out: Walk to Fight Diabetes

Every step you take and every dollar you raise helps the American Diabetes Association provide education programs in our community, protect the rights of people with diabetes and fund critical research for a cure. You and your contributions are the reason we make a hug difference for 25,450 people with diabetes and 75,000 people with pre-diabetes in Lubbock! Be A Santa To A Senior

Thursday, November 17th at KMart - 10:00am Kickoff

Monday, December 12th - Last day to bring back gifts

Tuesday, December 13th - Pick up gifts for delivery

Home Instead Senior Care is a proud sponser of Be A Santa To A Senior Program along with Meals On Wheels and Adult Protective Services. A Christmas tree covered in ornaments with the names and gift requests of nearly 300 seniors is located at Kmart on University Avenue, City Bank, and Grand Court. Gift request are as simple as blankets, slippers, and towels.
