Alzheimer's Association® National Capital Area Chapter
As part of a nationwide network of chapters, the Alzheimer's Association® National Capital Area Chapter provides help and hope to half a million people impacted by Alzheimer's and related disorders - those diagnosed, their families and care partners. The Chapter provides the following services: counseling, information and education for families and caregivers; support groups; Safe Return; training for professionals; community education; and government advocacy on the state and local levels.
Fairfax County Area Agency on Aging
The Fairfax County Area Agency on Aging (AAA) serves older adults and their family caregivers in Fairfax County and the cities of Fairfax and Falls Church. It was established by the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors in 1976 as directed by the Older Americans Act. The agency receives federal, state and county funds. The AAA’s primary goals are to improve the quality of life and promote independent living for older adults through helping individuals access community resources.
Loudoun County Area Agency on Aging
TheLoudoun County Area Agency on Aging (AAA) is the central point of contact for seniors (55+) and their families. The AAA mission is to foster independence, healthy aging, and improve the quality of life for older adults and their caregivers through comprehensive programs and services.
