John and Sarah Pacchetti - Owners

We are your trusted provider of comprehensive non-medical home health care services for seniors living in Southeastern Minnesota.  We can assist the senior in your life with companionship, homemaker tasks, hands on personal care and many other home care services.

We place a high priority on matching our CAREGivers with the client.  We believe that relationships based on trust must be established.  The bond that develops is one that fosters independence, promotes well-being, and supports the senior's needs with dignity.  We are your eyes and your ears.  And we do it all with a heart.

Karen Hanson - Community Service Manager

Karen has over 20 years experience in the home care industry. Working closely with area medical and health care communities, she informs and educates health care providers on the issues that are important to seniors.  By explaining our home care, companionship, and personal care services, Karen is kept busy providing resources to existing referral agencies while developing new referral relationships.  Karen is often found in the local community speaking about senior related issues and the many ways we are able to serve our local seniors.  Karen also works directly with other businesses and organizations to promote our goodwill efforts in such endeavors as the Alzheimer’s Memory Walk and the popular Be a Santa to a Senior program. Karen’s love for seniors comes shining through when you speak with her.

Chris Miller, RN - Personal Care Coordinator

With 30 years of experience, Chris has both the knowledge and instinct that allows her to accurately assess clients and match them with CAREGivers that understand their needs.  Each personal care client and their family meet with Chris or another care manager prior to the start of personal care services.  Her caring personality enables clients to feel comfortable speaking with her about sensitive issues.  Chris oversees the training and competency of all CAREGivers who provide personal care services.

Melissa Davidson - Service Coordinator

Melissa first joined the Home Instead Senior Care team in 2007 as a CAREGiver. As Service Coordinator, Melissa is responsible for creating lasting relationships between our clients and CAREGivers. She and her team truly believe that to make a relationship last and become extraordinary, our clients must be our top priority. To that end, listening to their needs allows us to understand and develop a one-on-one relationship between our clients and CAREGivers. She is highly motivated, outgoing and extremely nurturing individual who always makes it a priority to provide quality service and outstanding client care.

Kristina Babcock, LSW - Client Care Coordinator

Kristina, a Licensed Social Worker in Minnesota, is responsible for overseeing all client care issues. She works with family members and clients to ensure the utmost satisfaction. Kristina is also directly responsible for managing our Quality Assurance Program, conducting in-person assessments and phone surveys with clients. Kristina’s friendly personality is an instant hit with clients and their families.

Cece Schermerhorn - Staffing Coordinator

When our CAREGivers recieve an assignment, it is most likely Cece’s cheerful voice they hear.  In charge of scheduling, Cece maintains regular contact with each CAREGiver.  By knowing the personality and strengths of each CAREGiver, Cece is able to make the best match possible between client and CAREGiver.

Kari Kaus - Recruiting & Retention Coordinator

We welcomed Kari to our office in 2011. She brought with her previous experience with Home Instead Senior Care from the St. Cloud, MN office. Kari has amazing insight when it comes to understanding the needs of each client. Because of this, along with her friendly personality, she has a knack for matching clients with CAREGivers. In charge of the hiring process, Kari pre-screens all potential CAREGivers.  She then conducts interviews, oversee thorough background and reference checks, makes the employment decisions, and provides new employee orientation and follow-on training.
