Here are some of the basic requirements to be a Home Instead CAREGiver:

You must have AT LEAST 2 years of verifiable, professional caregiving experience

If you have a current CNA, HHA, LVN, or RN, then we require AT LEAST 1 year of verifiable, professional caregiving experience

Have a clean criminal background

Be drug free
-
Have a valid driver's license
-
Have a safe, reliable automobile (available to you at all times)

Have valid insurance (listing you as a driver) with appropriate limits and valid registration
-
Have a negative TB screening
-
Satisfy Employment Eligibility Verification Form I9

Have a High School diploma or GED equivalent
-
Be able to lift up to 25 pounds
