Veterans Benefits
If you are a veteran or surviving spouse of a veteran requiring in-home care or the assistance of a Home Instead Senior Care CAREGiver in your daily life, you may be eligible to receive benefits from the Veterans Administration.
More About the Benefit
The Veteran's Administration offers a Special Pension called an Aid and Attendance (A&A) Benefit. For those that qualify, this 'pension benefit' is designed to pay for in-home care services that are received by Veterans and surviving spouses. The in-home care is required to assist with activities of daily living such as eating, bathing, dressing, transferring, grooming, toileting and other homemaker tasks. Additional information can be found at www.veteranaid.org.
Please contact the Brandon office 813-684-1972 or Tampa office 813-930-9366 for additional information on this special pension benefit or to find out how to apply.
