Veterans and their surviving spouses may be eligible for programs which assist them in staying in their home.
Home Instead Senior Care actively assists Veterans with home care benefits. We assist Veterans in understanding which home care benefits they may qualify for as well as help with completing the paperwork to apply for the benefit. The general criteria for these programs is below. Call us to learn if you are eligible for these benefits.
- The Veteran must have received and honorable or general discharge from military service.
- The Veteran must have served no less than 90 days in the military.
- Surviving spouses must have been married at the time the Veteran passed.
- The Veteran or surviving spouse must have a doctor's order stating a need for home care.
