Amy Williamson, R.N. - Director of Client Care Amy has been our Director of Client Care for six years. She came to us with almost fifteen years experience as a visiting nurse. At Home Instead, Amy is responsible for coordinating all client care services. She also oversees our quarterly Quality Assurance Program -- assuring each client receives regular RN supervisory visits to make certain that our services fulfill their needs. Amy has been with Home Instead Senior Care since July, 2003. Ken Pendleton - Director of Community Outreach Ken is our Director of Community Outreach. He is responsible for handling all new client inquires and meeting with their families to discuss how Home Instead can be of assistance. He is also in charge of our annual 'Be a Santa to a Senior' program, which we open up to the communities we serve each holiday season. Ken has been with Home Instead Senior Care since November, 2005. Carol Hine - Director of CAREGiver Recruitment Carol has been our Director of CAREGiver Recruitment for over six years. She is happy to talk to anyone who may be interested in becoming a CAREGiver! Carol interviews and hires our CAREGivers. She is deeply committed to hiring exceptional CAREGivers -- those who have a real heart for the elderly. Carol has been with Home Instead Senior Care since May, 2003. Michelle Grove - Director of HR and Finance Michelle is our Director of HR and Finance for both our Saxton and State College offices. Michelle handles all client billing. She is responsible for payroll, unemployment, worker’s compensation and benefits. She also handles all general Human Resources concerns including employment verifications and references. Michelle has been with Home Instead Senior Care since July, 2004. Melinda Burge - Staff Coordinator Melinda is the Staff Coordinator for the State College office. She handles all the day-to-day scheduling for our clients and CAREGivers. Melinda also coordinates services for the clients that are referred to us through the respective County Aging Offices, as well as the Veterans Administration. Melinda has been with Home Instead Senior Care since March 2011. Margaret Pilgram, R.N. - Director of CAREGiver Retention and Training Margaret is our Director of CAREGiver Retention and Training. She teaches our formal training sessions and also provides hands-on individualized training and support. Each of our clients has different needs and abilites and Margaret meets those needs by ensuring every CAREGiver is trained to meet each client's unique situation. Margaret has been with Home Instead Senior Care since April, 2007. Hope Wrye - Staff Coordinator Hope is a Staff Coordinator for the State College office. handles all the day-to-day scheduling for our clients and CAREGivers. Hope also coordinates services for the clients that are referred to us through the respective County Aging Offices, as well as the Veterans Administration. Hope started with Home Instead Senior Care, as a CAREGiver, in March, 2003. Lois Rea, R.N. - Quality Assurance Nurse Lois is our Quality Assurance Nurse for the counties served via the State College Office. She visits every client at least every 90 days -- to ensure their service is meeting their needs. Lois also re-evaluates each client to make any changes necessary to the original care plan. Lois has been with Home Instead Senior Care since August, 2007. Crystal Henry, CSA - Community Outreach Coordinator Crystal is our Community Outreach Coordinator for both the State College and Saxton office. She is responsible for networking with referral providers, as well as meeting with families considering home care service for a loved one. Crystal also handles all advertising for both offices. She has been with Home Instead since March, 2007. Crystal is a Certified Senior Advisor thru the CSA Society. Renee Glunt - Administrative Coordinator Renee is responsible for handling incoming phone calls to our office and directing the caller to the right person. Renee offers direct support to the Finance Director with payroll and billing. She is responsible for entering the hours caregivers work and verifying this information on activity logs. She addresses caregiver and client concerns on a daily basis. She is also responsible for greeting visitors and general office administrative support. Renee has been with Home Instead since June 2010.   Rachel Glyde - Recruitment & Retention/Compliance Coordinator Rachel is responsible for keeping all the caregivers files/records up to date along with any compliance paperwork required by the CAREGivers. On a monthly-basis, Rachel creates the CAREGiver newsletter , as well as, CAREGiver informational inserts as needed. She is also an integral part in assisting with the scheduling and coordination of quarterly CAREGiver meetings. Rachel sends out training materials and the ‘Good Start’ bonuses to our CAREGivers as requested. Rachel joined Home Instead Senior Care in October of 2009.
  Tracey Tibbs - Recruitment Specialist Tracey is the Recruitment Specialist for the State College office. She assists the Recruitment Director with screening, hiring, and orienting of applicants. Tracey also is responsible for obtaining references, background checks, as well as organizing the required documents to insure PA licensure and corporate requirements are met. Tracey attends public recruiting functions and conducts presentations to community groups about what it would be like to be a CAREGiver for Home Instead. Tracey started with us as a CAREGiver in August 2005, and joined the office staff in January 2010. |
