Ron and Christine Krasnansky opened their first Home Instead Senior Care office in State College in 2002. A year later they opened a second office in nearby Saxton.

Ron impacts the community through his efforts to improve the quality of life for senior adults as they age. The quality standards of Home Instead Senior Care are recognized nationwide and the local offices set the Standards of Excellence in the industry. All of the State College and Saxton CAREGiver staff are continually educated, trained, and screened through many background checks. In requiring this level of quality, Ron and Christine allow thousands of seniors and their families in the local area to enjoy peace of mind, independence, and dignity. Ron is a hands-on owner with an exemplary caring spirit. He is committed to improving the lives of Central Pennsylvania's seniors.
Currently, the State College team provides home care in Centre, Clearfield, and Mifflin/Juniata counties. The team at the Saxton office provides home care service to Huntingdon, Fulton and Bedford counties.

Ron and Christine Krasnansky both graduated from Penn State University. As co-owners of these two franchises they share a deep commitment to providing excellent homecare and to fullfilling our mission:

Shirley Fox-Administrative Coordinator

Shirley is the Administrative Coordinator for the Saxton office.She handles client and CAREGiver concerns on a daily basis and is also responsible for any questions pertaining to billing and payroll.

Joyce Dell, RN-Quality Care Coordinator

Joyce is our Quality Assurance Nurse for the counties served via the Saxton Office. She visits our clients at least every 90 days -- to ensure their service is meeting their needs. Joyce also re-evaluates each client to make any changes necessary to the original care plan.

Roberta Golden, RN-Quality Care Coordinator

Roberta is our Quality Assurance Nurse for the counties served via the Saxton Office. She visits our clients at least every 90 days -- to ensure their service is meeting their needs. Roberta also re-evaluates each client to make any changes necessary to the original care plan.

Erin Lashinsky-Staffing Coordinator

Erin has been a Staffing Coordinator for the Saxton office since May 2007. She  handles all the day-to-day scheduling for our clients and CAREGivers. Erin also coordinates services for the clients that are referred to us through the respective County Aging Offices, as well as the Veterans Administration. 

Janet Kegg-Grimes, CNA-CAREGiver Recruitment & Retention Coordinator

Janet started with Home Instead Senior Care in 2005 as a CAREGiver. She then became our CAREGiver Recruitment & Retention Coordinator. She is happy to talk to anyone who may be interested in becoming a CAREGiver! Janet interviews and hires our CAREGivers. She is deeply committed to hiring exceptional CAREGivers -- those who have a real heart for the elderly.

Chasity DeHart-Staffing Coordinator

Chasity is a Staff Coordinator for the Saxton office. She  handles all the day-to-day scheduling for our clients and CAREGivers. Chasity also coordinates services for the clients that are referred to us through the respective County Aging Offices, as well as the Veterans Administration. Chasity has been with Home Instead Senior Care since September 2005.
