Julie Williams, President, Home Instead Senior Care
Originally from Seattle, Julie Moved to Vancouver in 1996. With a background in business consulting, Julie worked hard at helping small and medium size businesses succeed in an ever-changing business market.
After having worked as a consultant to a company named Home Instead Senior Care, she made a life-changing decision; she bought one of their franchises in Clark County. Impressed with their commitment to seniors, caregivers, and their franchise network, she felt compelled that this was the right company, the right time, and had all the qualifying factors she considered necessary. Julie's dream has always been to own her own business, but it had to be "the right" business, and Home Instead was it!
Her own personal experience of being a caregiver, for her Auntie Ollie, who was much like a grandmother in her life, greatly influenced her decision. She knew intimately the rewards of caring for someone not only impacted the life of the person being cared for, but for that persons family, as well as the profound impact of giving back to someone who gave so much to her.
Over the past several years Julie has been involved in several fund raising events in ClarkCounty and is truly impressed with the county's commitment to the community, and generosity of community leaders, and volunteers. She is proud to call Clark County her home; and the seniors in Clark County are her passion. She is commited to educating folks on the issues facing Clark County with the upcoming "Age Wave". Brainstorming with community leaders on ways we can make changes to provide better care and choices for families and their senior loved ones with regard to eldercare, and aging issues.
