Maximizing Independence & Stimulating Performance

The goal of Home Instead Senior Care's Alzheimer's care program is simple:

To give the elderly afflicted with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia an opportunity to age with dignity for as long as possible
Our exclusive Alzheimer's CAREGiver training curriculum was developed by The George G. Glenner Alzheimer's Family Centers, Inc. This respected organization is at the forefront of Alzheimer's and dementia patient care training.

Through this advanced program, our CAREGivers learn about the disease, its process and progression, and the impact on the client and their family members. Our approach of encouragement and assistance helps family members cope with the severe challenges of the disease.

CAREGivers also learn specific techniques to manage the changing behaviors, maximize independence and stimulate performance in Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs).

This specialized service enables those diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, dementia or related memory disorders to remain home longer, enjoying the benefits of individualized care and family association.

To schedule a no-cost, no-obligation home visit to discuss how we can help your loved one stay safely and independently in their home, call us today!

Home Instead Senior Care also provides several free resources to help families deal with the stress of Alzheimer's disease. See our listing of FREE materials under the Resource and Info. tab.
