As you may recall, I was in contact with you several weeks ago investigating the options for help with my mother while I was in Napa for my daughter's wedding. Although you were so wonderful on the phone and the price was right, for some reason I chose to go with another agency. Not to go into the gory details, they failed me on all counts from picking Mom up at the airport, to providing the on-site services agreed to.
In a fit of panic, I contacted your organization on Sunday afternoon never dreaming someone would actually answer the phone. It was then that I had the pleasure of speaking with Candy. She was extremely sympathetic to my frustration and plea for help! She took the "bull by the horns" and assured me if she had to come to my rescue herself, it would all be taken care of.
Within the hour, Ana Lisa was assigned the job and met me and my mom at the Hilton Sonoma County ready to work. Ana was fantastic getting Mom unpacked and organized in her hotel room and stayed until everything was perfectly set. Ana and Mom becam fast friends and Mom wanted to take Ana home with her to North Carolina! Mom was treated like a Queen!
I cannot commend you and your staff enough for the fantastic customer service. It is not often I get the oppourtnity to send this type of letter and I hope you will share it with everyone on your staff. You also have my permission to post any of its content as a testimonial on your website.

I am very grateful to have the opportunity to recommend my CAREGiver Donna as the outstanding CAREGiver of the year for 2009! Donna has enhance my life in so many ways. Daily, she helps me to do all the things I can no longer do for myself. She provides loving care enabling me to keep my dignity living in my home where all my memories are kept. They are a living part of my life and she provides me with the personalized care on my own terms in my own home to enjoy.
She is my angel. She is my family. She makes certain I take my medicine and that I keep my doctor appts., but not only does she keep me healthy, she feeds my soul. I was home bound and merely existing, but since she, through Home Instead came into my life, I again am living! I now go out daily into my beautiful gardens surrounding my home, we go out to shop & eat and we have fun everyday! I feel the years have been peeled back and I am truly living life again. Donna is a blessing!
One of the things we need as we age is care and understanding. We need care from the heart, that's most important! Donna provides me with just that.
