The LOA Area Agency on Aging is a private, non-profit organization. They are dedicated to the mission of helping older persons remain independent for as long as possible. The LOA serves the Fifth Planning District in the Commonwealth of Virginia, including Alleghany, Botetourt, Craig and Roanoke Counties and the cities of Covington, Roanoke and Salem.
