Our Owners and Their Inspiration

Bob and Joyce Koch started their Home Instead Senior Care business in Cary, Illinois after personal tragedy struck Bob's own family with his father being diagnosed with cancer. Bob's mother provided the needed 24-hour care for his father along with help from Bob and other family members.

After Bob's father passed away, Bob realized the toll that the caregiving role took on his mother. It was at this time that Bob further realized that there was more that he needed to do with his life and decided to help others that were going through a similar journey with their senior loved ones. Bob began searching for a business that both he and Joyce would be able to give of themselves.

Bob and Joyce have dedicated their Home Instead Senior Care franchise in honor of Bob's father, Robert Koch, Sr. Home Instead Senior Care, an internationally franchised company with over 800 offices worldwide, is the world's largest provider of comprehensive, non-medical home care services. Their Home Instead Senior Care office serves seniors that live in McHenry County, Western Lake, Northwest Cook, and Northern Kane Counties.
