I thought you would enjoy seeing my dad, Jim, with his wonderful gift bag that Mary brought on Saturday. My dad was so thrilled to receive it! He just loved all the thoughtful items. The cookies are almost gone, he says they remind him of the ones my mom used to make! He is holding one of them in the picture.
He is sitting in the great lift chair we found on Craigs list. As always, I do not think we can say enough good things about Mary, she is so naturally kind and caring, and so smart about instinctively knowing how to help my dad. She knows just when he is feeling blue and when to joke around with him. With my sister and I not being able to be there all the time, Mary is the glue holding our family together!
I know that you and your hardworking support staff in the Pismo Beach Office work as a team to see that all of your seniors get the best possible help when they need it! On behalf of my family, I would like to thank you for doing an outstanding job at Home Instead. Please extend my wishes for a great holiday season and a happy New Year to everyone in your group!

Thanks so much for all you have done for my parents. Having Mary in their home is the best possible arrangement. Both of my parents are doing so well with her thoughtful and energetic care. Managing the care and assuring the happiness of aging family members is one of the most trying passages in life. Our family dreaded these years only to find that Home Instead and its staff provided truly exceptional care. You have done so with compassion and a level of professionalism has given us great comfort. Your efforts to find caregivers on short notice to cover odd hours for lengthy periods of time have been much appreciated. Our mother smiles when your staff is present - surely powerful testimony to their kindness and the level of engagement they've encouraged. Their skill managing medical emergencies has been conservative and flawless.
