Frequency of follow up is something you should demand from your home care company. All too often home care companies will pair a caregiver with a client and never express interest in either party again until there is a problem. At Home Instead Senior Care we understand the need to build and maintain relationships and assure consistent quality of care and compatibility over time. Our clients and CAREGivers are not just names on a list or profiles on a computer. We meet and interact with our clients and CAREGivers on a regular basis in order to know them as individuals and then tailor services to meet their individual needs.
At our Levittown Home Instead Senior Care office, we follow up with our clients to ensure that quality care is being provided. Our Quality Assurance Director intersperses friendly phone calls with home visits so that our clients and their families have ample opportunities to ask questions, address any concerns, and adjust care to changing needs. During a quality assurance visit we listen to families, coach CAREGivers and play a direct role in the care provided to our clients.
Our Client Care Coordinator, an RN and Certified Rehabilitation Nurse, develops specific and tailored Care Plans for each client and regularly audits the care provided. We are able to provide clients needed information about getting special medical equipment, a geriatric physician, podiatrist or hairdresser to come to the home, or coordinating care with hospice agencies. Our attention to detail ensures that each client receives the help and support they need to remain independent for as long as possible.
