Since Home Instead came into the picture, it’s less stressful. It’s nicer. I talk to my mom and she’s busy. She’s not just waiting for a call from me. It’s finally back to the balanced mother/daughter relationship we’d been missing.

     I was dreading the idea of placing my beloved mother in a nursing home for her own safety.  Home Instead Senior Care offered us a better solution.  They in conjunction with the Bucks County Area on Aging, we were able to provide her with a much safer environment in the comfort of our own home.

 

     Home Instead Senior Care matched us with a wonderful caregiver who was not only professional, but loving and caring.  My mother enjoyed her company and they grew to be great friends.

We think back to when we started this journey and all of the warnings and resistance we experienced when we wanted to bring Mom home, where we felt she would be the happiest. You all assured us that you could meet our mom's needs and make sure she was happy and safe. Little did we know…you would do that and so much more. Your amazing team brought our mom joy, comfort and security. You gave our families the opportunity for life to go on as normal as possible. When a crisis hit we knew that you were only a phone call away to meet whatever need we had at the time. And you gave us comfort as our mom's spirit was released from a body that could no longer hold her. We will be forever grateful. Thank you.

My mother doesn't live nearby, so I asked a CAREGiver to spend a couple of days a week with her. I have peace of mind knowing a responsible CAREGiver is there with her when I can't be.

All my mom wanted was to be able to spend her final years in her own home.  Because, of your special service we were able to do just that.

Thank you ALL for your caring, your support, your assistance during Dad’s last days.  Your match with Barb was wonderful. I’ll always remember Dad saying how comforted he was when Barb held his hand until he fell asleep one night. I think of Dad and then say a prayer for all of you.

I got to a point where I didn't like driving or running errands by myself. Now, thanks to my CAREGiver Susan, I don't put off getting the things I need and I actually enjoy getting out.

Sarah knew how much my mother cherished her houseplants and the birds, squirrels and chipmunks that frequented her feeders. So she set up a feeder just outside my mom’s bedside window. Now they laugh together at the antics of the animals that come to feed at it.
