Community Gift-Giving program targets local nursing home residents

Home Instead Senior Care of Bucks County (www.homeinstead.com/342), along with their program partners, Bucks County Senior Resource Alliance, (www.buckscountysra.com) and the Boscov's Department store in Bensalem, will once again make the holidays a bit brighter for local nuring home residents with the "Be a Santa to a Senior" (www.beasantatoasenior.com) gift-giving program.

Boscovs' will place a gift tree in their store from Nov. 23-Dec. 13th, encouraging holiday-spirited customers to consider a modest gift for a nursing home resident they do not know except for a first name and a gift of choice.

Each year Home Instead Senior Care and their program partners throughout North America spread holiday cheer to lonely, chronically ill, or financially challenged seniors through their Be a Santa to a Senior program.  Home Instead Senior care and their partners have helped provide more than 1,000,000 gifts to over 700,000 to date.
