Home Instead Senior Care
East Polk County

I want to thank you so much for your attention to detail and let you know how very much we appreciate the flexibility of your staff. Every caregiver you have sent our way has been especially wonderful, professional and most of all caring. We find the caregivers easy to work with and enjoy their company as much as my mom does.

Our CAREGiversSM Are at the Heart of It All

Our CAREGivers are residents of the local area who are carefully screened, fully bonded and are covered by the company's Workmen's Compensation insurance as well as liability insurance. They are employees of Home Instead Senior Care and their payroll and other required taxes are paid by the company. Each takes part in our exclusive multi-phase training and we place a high priority on matching our CAREGivers with our clients to help develop a bond that will foster independence, promote well being and support the senior’s needs with respect and dignity.

David Jensen, Co-Owner

I was born in California and moved to Arkansas as a young boy. I went to college in TN where I majored in Accounting and Marketing. There I met the woman that soon became my wife. We left to teach English for a year in China. After that, we landed in Florida where we have spent the last 20 plus years working and raising our family. Kathi and I have been blessed with 3 children and 23 years of marriage.

I have had the privilege to work for Florida Hospital as their budget director for several years, but my interest has always been in owning my own business. When I found an opportunity, I jumped and started a health care consulting business that I operated with a partner for 15 years. I also became a building and solar contractor on the side.

When the opportunity came up to own and operate this Home Instead Franchise, I knew both my wife and I had found a way to work together and also make a difference in the lives of seniors in our community. We have had a wonderful time working with our CareGivers and providing Services to those needing the Home Touch of Home Instead Senior Care.

Sincerely,
David Jensen - Co-owner

Kathi Jensen, Co-Owner

I was born to a missionary family in Panama. I had the privilege of  growing up in Honduras and Guatemala. I was blessed to learn Spanish and didn't move back to the US until I was 12.

I went to school in TN where I took Nursing and I also met my husband. Our adventure continued as we traveled to China to teach English, and then made our way back to the US, landing in FL.

I began working as a Home Health Nurse. I loved the one on one time with my patients and the time I had to do education. I also worked in GI and in the OR over the years. Mostly, I have been blessed to be home with my three children as a mom and teacher.

Now, David and I are excited to be able to own and operate this Home Instead office to provide the very BEST care possible to all our clients and to make a difference in our community. Looking forward to serving you.

Sincerely,
Kathi Jensen - Co-owner

David DuPaul-Book Keeping/Payroll

I have been married to Nancy for 22 years. We have five children, four of which are married. We have twelve grandchildren, two dogs, three grand dogs and a wonderful life together.

We like to travel and spend time with our children and grandchildren. We are active in our local church and are excited about what God is doing today.

Psalm 127: 3-5; lo, children are a heritage from the LORD…4: as arrows are in the hand of a mighty man, so are the children of his youth. 5: Happy is a man who has a quiver full of them…

Working for Home Instead is a new adventure for me. I work in the office so I don’t interact with the clients, but I believe this is a rewarding place to work.

What Home Instead does is important and does make a difference in the quality of life for the clients. Thanks for the opportunity.

Sincerely,
David DuPaul - Book Keeping/Payroll
