Our CAREGiversSM Are at the Heart of It All

Our CAREGivers are residents of the local area who are carefully screened, fully bonded and are covered by the company's Workmen's Compensation insurance as well as liability insurance. They are employees of Home Instead Senior Care and their payroll and other required taxes are paid by the company. Each takes part in our exclusive multi-phase training and we place a high priority on matching our CAREGivers with our clients to help develop a bond that will foster independence, promote well being and support the senior’s needs with respect and dignity.

Brad has a heartfelt desire to work with seniors his community. It's the reason he was chosen to serve seniors and their families right here in Winter Haven and East Polk County.

Judy Laws, Director/Administrator

Home Instead Senior Care is my passion! For fifteen years, before hearing about Home Instead, I managed Assisted Living Facilities and loved it. The moment I heard about Home Instead, I was in. Loving and caring for people is an honor and a sacred trust that we are called to, not a job. I am married and the mother of four children and eight grandchildren. That too, is an honor and another one of my passions in this life. My husband and I are very involved in Prison Ministry and have been for about 17 years. I also teach a bible study at an Assisted Living Facility in Winter Haven.

Sandra Sawyer, Office Staffing and Client Care

Sandra is our Administrative Assistant and is responsible for many aspects of the office, from scheduling just the right caregiver to be with out clients, to office duties. Her passion in life is to please God and she loves every aspect of her vocation at Home Instead. Sandra has worked for our office since 2006. Through the years, she has filled each position as needed and doesn't hesitate to fill in as a caregiver herself. Sandra is the mother of seven children.
