When you're ready for help, our caring staff is on call to quickly answer your questions and accommodate your senior services needs.

Rick Shaw - Franchise Owner

My twenty years in Production and Inventory Management although exciting at times always left a void in me.  I often found myself with questions like what have I done today or yesterday or last year to make a difference in the world.  I found the answer in 1998 when I found a service that would help seniors to age at home.  I was elated to find Home Instead Senior Care, a place that not only provides a much needed service for seniors but also provide a place that values employees.  This was something missing for me in my corporate jobs. My years with Home Instead Senior Care have been the most rewarding time of my working career.

Jane Caldwell - Staff Coordinator

I began working with Home Instead-Wilmington, NC in 2001 as a CAREGiver when I was 21yrs old after obtaining my CNA license.  I had worked in a nursing facility for a few years and when I heard about Home Instead and their philosophy of keeping seniors happily in their homes I was thrilled.  After moving to South Carolina in 2006, I joined the Greenville team and shortly thereafter was asked to work in the office as the Recruitment and Retention Coordinator. Much to my surprise and delight in January 2008 I was asked to become the Staff Coordinator.  I was thrilled at the idea and I have been extremely happy with my entire work experience with Home Instead Senior Care since day one.

I am responsible for taking service inquiries, matching clients with the right CAREGivers and counseling CAREGivers whenever needed.  I work very closely with everyone in the office to help ensure that all of our clients are receiving the care they need and deserve and making sure that our CAREGivers are taken care of also. Being able to see and hear the happiness in our clients voices when they are able to stay in their homes with our assistance makes my job worthwhile.

Brandy Leroy - Nurse Supervisor

I am a registered nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.  My position with Home Instead Senior Care involves training the staff to ensure skills are current and the care each CAREGiver provides meets our mission statement and values.  I specialize in the care of the elderly and for those who have suffered strokes.  My passion is educating the community on the risk factors, signs and symptoms of a stroke.
In my spare time, I watch Disney movies with my daughter or go to the local lake for a relaxing boat ride with my family.  I also enjoy getting lost in a good book or movie.

Monica Boozer - Client Care Coordinator

I am 37 yrs old and I have a 14 yr old son.  I have been a CNA for 5 years and I am currently enrolled in nursing school to obtain my RN license.

I started with Home Instead Senior Care in 2007 as a CAREGiver. Shortly thereafter I was asked to take on the roll of On-Call Supervisor.  With that job I accept after hours calls, perform introductions between new clients and CAREGivers as needed and document all information to make sure the office stays informed of all the activities that occur outside of our office ours.

In the beginning of 2009 I accepted the role of Client Care Coordinator.  With this position I perform regular visits to clients homes to ensure that they are receiving the best care that they deserve.  This enables us to stay informed on the needs of our clients and make sure that the CAREGiver/client relationship is flourishing.  Being able to see firsthand the satisfaction and security that our CAREGivers  bring to each of our clients is the greatest reward of my job.

SUSAN THOMPSON LPNII - CLIENT ASSESSMENT COORDINATOR

I am 42 year old native of Greenville.  I have a son 12, a daughter 4, and my mother is 80 and widowed.  We all live in our family home which my father purchased for my mom 40 years ago for her birthday, in the beautiful downtown area. I am a Licensed Practical Nurse with IV/phlebotomy certification.  I love my job as a nurse and have a spirit and belief in my ability to spread love, joy and happiness by giving the best possible care to all clients.   As a career nurse I wear many hats. One of which is to provide optimum care for our seniors and support for their families.  I graduated from Greenville Technical College in 1990 as a Licensed Practical Nurse and I have worked in different health care settings such as home health, hospice, assisted living facilities as assistant director, hospitals, dialysis units, and long term care facilities,  just to name a few. I also live in the generation we call the sandwich generation.   I am a young adult who has children, who is single, and I have an elderly mother to care for, it is nice to know that there is relief out there. That relief is provided in a company that I am proud to be a part of; HOME INSTEAD SENIOR CARE.  Won't you come join us www.homeinstead.com/330.
