A Tradition of Great Caregiving

At Home Instead Senior Care, we reward our local CAREGivers with CAREGiver of the Year awards to show our appreciation for all they do. Home Instead, Inc. also recognizes regional CAREGivers of the Year and one special CAREGiver who shows exceptional dedication is the recipient of the national award — The Mary Steibel CAREGiverSM of the Year Award.

This program inspires CAREGivers to strive for excellence. It creates a sense of pride in the fact that the Home Instead Senior CareSM franchise network recognizes, appreciates and rewards their hard work, compassionate care and service to others.

Joan Turco - Hunterdon and Warren Counties 2011 CAREGiver of the Year

Tracy speaks with great passion about Joan. "Joan's sensibilities, her caring concern, and responsive common sense approach has made having her as part of my team a God send! Without dedicated CAREGivers like Joan, we couldn't provide the superior quality of service to seniors that sets our organization apart."

Joan's personal trials and struggles have not prevented her from continually being that steadfast person on who we always rely. Joan has invested 5,000 hours over the past 5 years. She is a member of care team offering 24/7 care to a couple married over 65 yers.

Joan was nominated for her steadfast dedication to support older adults, enabling them to remain in their homes longer than they otherwise could. Joan is helping to fulfill her clients' wishes to remain in their home together until the end."

Doris Soden - 2010 CAREGiver of the Year for Hunterdon and Warren Counties

Doris Soden - Hunterdon and Warren Counties 2010 CAREGiver of the Year

Doris Soden was hired on February 14, 2006. Valentine’s Day-how appropriate considering the “heart” it takes to choose caregiving as a ministry.

Doris, the Dedicated, mature woman who will stop whatever it is she is currently involved in(on her day off) and run an errand, arrange a purchase of a magnifying machine so her client can read the newspaper and work on his own bills.

Doris, the Organized efficient master of “surprise” tea parties & birthday celebrations that brighten up a seniors’ life with laughter, hope and friendships rekindled!

Doris, the Reliable. Her quick self composed, responsive reaction to situations both grave and life threatening(from clients falling or passing out, to driving through pelting storms circumnavigating fallen trees blocking the roadway) have created a sense of “peace” and a “calm” atmosphere where her clients rest easy when placed in her care.

Doris, the “Ideal” model of a professional CAREGiver who “walks the walk” and “Talks the Walk”-whose CAREGiver Ideology mirrors that which makes us the “Home Instead Senior Care” Family.

Doris, the Strong, Spirited, Giver of CARE who Shares her “whole” Self in Service to others! Doris Soden has unselfishly shared over 5,800 hours of her life with our seniors!

Doris is the golden thread through which the CAREGiver “pearls” are strung!

Bob Williams - Hunterdon and Warren Counties 2009 CAREGiver of the Year

CAREGivers like Bob are the core of our business," said Tracy Fazzolari, owner of Home Instead. "Without dedicated CAREGivers, we wouldn't be able to provide the superior quality of service to seniors that sets our company apart from others. CAREGivers are the foundation of Home Instead Senior Care and provide the support that helps older adults remain in their homes longer than they otherwise could."

Williams was nominated by the Home Instead Senior Care Staff for his dedication to his clients and his willingness to "go the extra mile". Bob, who lives in Hunterdon County, began working for Home Instead Senior Care in 2004 and has put in more than 7,442 CAREGiving hours with his clients.
