I want to thank you so much for your attention to detail and let you know how very much we appreciate the flexibility of your staff. Every caregiver you have sent our way has been especially wonderful, professional and most of all caring. We find the caregivers easy to work with and enjoy their company as much as my mom does.

Washington, New Jersey's Home Instead Senior Care Team of Experts

Tracy Fazzolari

In 2003, Tracy's pursuit of work that makes a difference led her to Home Instead Senior Care. Thirty two years experience in client assurance, customer relations, and business management led to the role of General Manager for the Home Instead office serving the Hunterdon & Warren county communities.

New Year's Eve 2007, marked the beginning of a new vocation as the owner of a life changing organization dedicated to providing comprehensive CAREGiver training and support, client- CAREGiver compatibility and Quality Assurance.  Tracy has become a passionate advocate for a seniors' CHOICE  to "Age in Place" where their lives are enriched by personal relationships with Home Instead CAREGivers!  "Living the Years, not Counting Them" is her mantra! Time and time again she has seen life changing transformations in the seniors' lives that Home Instead CAREGivers effect.

Tracy believes in a strong community connection.  She holds memberships in both Hunterdon & Warren county Chambers of Commerce.  She is a graduate of Leadershiip Warren, a group of local business and community leaders working for change and innovation. In 2011 she was asked to join the Board of Trustees for Leadership Hunterdon.  Her husband and business partner Chaz Carroll is a member of the first Leadership Hunterdon class of 2011-2012.

Tracy and Chaz host "Boomer's World", a weekly radio show every Friday from 11am to 12 noon on Hunterdon Chamber Internet Radio. They are volunteer DJ's and love every minute of it!

In 2011 she was elected to serve a three year term to the Washington Business Improvement District (BID) . Downtown revitalization has become another passion with her focus being on art and culture. Every third Thursday of the month participating local businesses host an Artists' "opening" of gallery ready art which are displayed for a month at each location. The art is changed out each month to keep the event alive and interesting.

Tracy has an altruistic philosophy that drives her commitment to support local non-profits in their missions.  She supports the efforts of Domestic Abuse & Sexual Assault Crisis Center of Warren County, Habitat for Humanity, the United Way, and Big Brothers, Big Sisters. Tracy holds a Notary Public Commission for the State of New Jersey.  She is a designated Certified Senior Advisor (CSA) and successfully completed all studies.  She met the required conditions of integrity and professionalism and passed the examination for certification to the Society of Senior Advisors.  Studies included financial literacy, estate planning, long term care insurance, and government programs. Tracy is a voting member of the National Private Duty Association.  NPDA members strive to educate the public, promote legislation, education, and advocacy to develop standards of care for properly licensed agencies by educating consumers.

Her "Fan Club" consists of her husband Chaz and their blended family of 5 grown children and 6 dogs, 2 cats, and a turtle!

Chaz Carroll: Community Relations Director

Chaz is a native of New York City, born and raised in The Bronx. Chaz’s Dad was 51 and his Mom was 41 when he was born. Having older parents growing up gave him a love of the older generation. As a child, many people thought that his parents were his grandparents, but he always stated proudly that they were, in fact, his parents. Taking the laundry for Mom from the family fifth floor apartment with no elevator, to the local Laundromat, was a weekly chore that he was always glad to do.

Chaz is a former Marine. He worked for New York Life Insurance Company in Information Technology for 35 years and retired in 2000. He then joined Flemington Car and Truck Country as a Sales Consultant for Mazda for 10 years and retired in 2010.

Chaz joined the Home Instead Senior Care Team in August 2010. His caregiving started before Home Instead was in existence when he took care of his mother in his own home shortly after his Dad died. This experience gave him the background for seeing first hand the needs of seniors. It also gave him the desire to do whatever it takes to make them feel loved. His mom remained in his home until she died at 90 years old. Chaz always says that his third career with Home Instead Senior Care is by far his best career, because he is making a difference in the lives of the people who forged this great country.

Chaz is a member of the first Leadership Hunterdon Class of 2011-2012.  The Leadership Hunterdon class encompasses local business and community leaders working for change and innovation.  Chaz enjoys the interaction with business owners as an active member of the Chamber of Commerce of Hunterdon County.  Tune in to hear Chaz every Friday when he co-hosts "Boomer's World"   with his wife Tracy on Hunterdon Chamber Internet Radio

Chaz is happily married to Tracy Fazzolari and has 5 grown children in a blended family.
Joan Ryno

Joan Ryno: Recruitment and Retention Director

Joan began her CAREGiving career when she was only 13, volunteering as a "Candy Striper" at a local hospital. After high school she pursued her dream of becoming a nurse. Joan's specialty was geriatrics and she obtained work at a local nursing home. Joan lovingly provided compassionate care for its residents, but deep inside she knew there should be an alternate way of providing care for them.

In 2008 Joan's life changed when she joined the team at Home Instead Senior Care. Joan recalls the feeling of "love in bloom". This was exactly what Joan thought care for the elderly should be! Seniors choosing to remain in their homes where they could receive assistance with daily tasks, while still maintaining their independence.

Joan's attention to detail and diligence in screening prospective CAREGivers makes her vocation at Home Instead Senior Care an exceptional fit. Her enthusiasm is quite obvious as she implements our thorough, multi-phased training program that helps our CAREGivers become extraordinary senior care professionals! For Joan it is not only a privilege to work with the team at Home Instead Senior Care, but an enjoyable experience with an extended family. Joan is very involved with her church family of St. Joseph's where she is a member of the choir. Joan has four beautiful daughters, five grandsons and 2 granddaughters with whom she spends many enjoyable hours with.

Lucy Hurley

Lucy Hurley: Community Outreach

Lucy is a native of Hackettstown, New Jersey and four generations of her family have graduated from Hackettstown High School. She has been an active member of the local community serving in many civic organizations. She lived with her mother, until she passed away at age 80. Lucy had an empty void inside until she noticed a "CAREGivers needed flyer" and applied for work with Home Instead Senior Care. She decided that working with seniors in their homes could help the sense of loss she felt from missing her own mom. Lucy loved working with her clients, and became very close to them. Being a CAREGiver made her life more fulfilling, as this would oftentimes rekindle cherished memories for her.

Lucy's firm belief in the Home Instead "difference" between counting the years and actually living them is what lead her to become our Community Relations Representative. Her dedicated motivation and professionalism help her build amazing relationships with members of our community. The local office of aging, case managers, social workers, hospital discharge planners, nurse practitioners, doctors, podiatrists, and dentists, are among the many friends that form the fabric of our Home Instead network. Lucy's deep roots within the counties she serves most always leads to some type of common connection with the people she meets. She loves spreading the message of "Home Instead!" She says her job is very rewarding and she just feels good about what she does. "Love, compassion, & commitment" for all our seniors is her motto.

Lucy continually strives to remain informed of senior issues and to be their advocate. Lucy is a trained counselor in the State Health Insurance Program (SHIP). SHIP is a national program that offers one-on-one counseling and assistance to people with Medicare. Lucy serves as a volunteer advocate on behalf of Home Instead and this service will be available for clients to utilize. For more information on SHIP, visit their website www.shiptalk.org or call 1-877-222-3737.

On January 28, 2010 Lucy successfully completed the Leader Training Sessions for the HealthEase "Move Today" program. The training sessions were required by the NJ Department of Health and Senior Services and the Division of Senior, Disabilities, and Veteran's Services of Hunterdon County. HealthEase is a pilot program designed to improve the health and wellness of older adults through education and the promotion and support of healthy behavior. They work on posture, balance and strength training with resistance bands and gentle stretching. Lucy was one of the peer leaders facilitating at the Senior Center in Flemington.

Lucy promotes advocacy through interactive speaking to local groups, clubs, employers, & organizations throughout Hunterdon and Warrren county. She is a true resource to the community of family caregivers who seek support, information, and education.  She may be reached directly at lucy.hurley@homeinstead.com.

Lucy has 2 grown, married sons whom she is very proud. The "spring" in her step is from her grandchildren: a grandson and granddaughter in Montana and a granddaughter in Vermont

Rhonda Stone

Rhonda Stone

Rhonda is a Jersey girl. She pursued her professional role of CAREGiving when she graduated from the Mountainside School of Nursing. "Help me, Rhonda" is an understatement when it comes to her professional involvement in the community in which she lives and serves. You may find her at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center in the pre-natal clinic, or at her post as school nurse at either of two local private schools. Rhonda also teaches CPR classes at the Center for Healthier Living in Hackettstown New Jersey. We are extremely fortunate that she has joined the Home Instead team. Her compassion and dedication to our older citizens make her a natural choice for conducting Home Health Assessments.

Rhonda is married and has 3 children currently attending college. One of her favorite pastimes is antiquing with her Mom.

Debra Dockendorf: Education Resource Specialist

Debra found that older people had significance in her life at an early age.  “I remember afternoon teas with Mrs. Thuey after school and sliced hard boiled eggs for lunch with Mrs. Bloy around the corner.  I loved to listen to their stories.  Their friendships enriched my life as a child,” says Debra.

Debra joined Home Instead Senior Care as a CAREGiver in 2009, after hearing about us on the Deliliah show driving home one evening. Making a difference in people's lives attracted her to Home Instead.  The joy Debra found in her childhood relationships led her to form fast and deep relationships with her clients.

Debra’s role as our Education Resource Specialist marries her background in training and technology with her love of seniors.  Whether she is facilitating a Family Education Workshop or training our CAREGivers, her desire to provide practical tools and encouragement is evident.  Debra works to stay current with trends and issues impacting seniors.  Through social media (Facebook) and our website, she seeks to present information relevant to enabling seniors to live life with vitality and purpose.

Home Instead Senior Care is part of her family -  her husband Mark keeps our technology running.
