“Home Instead Senior Care provided our mother Olive with many years of wonderful assistance as she lived in the comfort of her own home until her recent passing. Mom was treated with care and sensitivity by her CAREGivers and staff members. Whether they were playing cards together, putting together puzzles, playing with Mom's dog, taking walks or rides, or sitting outside on the deck and enjoying a sunny day, Mom and her ‘friendly helpers’ (as she would call them), were family.
“As Mom began to decline after many years of dementia, her daily and nightly CAREGivers were able to create an atmosphere of safety, security and love, which got her through her fear, or anger, or loneliness. Whatever the need was, they were there to fill it. Words cannot really express how much comfort and tenderness they gave Mom. I will always be grateful to the CAREGivers for holding her hand for me when I could not. I know she is smiling down from heaven and thanking them from the bottom of her heart."

“They are very conscientious. Our particular CAREGiver (Tracie) is fabulous. We have very good communication, and she lets me know how Mom is doing. She is very good with my mom, calms her down when she is frustrated, and is good at reading the situation and figuring out the necessities. She is like a member of the family. When we have events such as a birthday party, where I cannot give Mom all of the attention she needs, we invite Tracie to be a Mom's companion. We have had substitute CAREGivers at times and they were all very nice. Tracie is fabulous!
