It All Started With Our Founders

Lori and Paul Hogan, Home Instead Senior Care Co-Founders
It was Paul and Lori Hogan’s own experience caring for Paul's grandmother in her home for 12 years that inspired them to launch Home Instead Senior Care in 1994. Realizing that there were others families like theirs that needed help to keep their loved ones safely living at home, they have devoted themselves to making home care available throughout the U.S. and around the world. It’s what they know and love, and their services allow them to make a real difference to communities, families and individuals everywhere.

Debbie Harrell

Debbie Harrell graduated from Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky with a BS degree in Elementary Education. She then taught grades 1 through 5. In 1998, After 25 years of teaching she retired to open Home Instead Senior Care in Tallahassee, Florida.
 
Debbie's son, Scott Harrell, helped her with the business in 1998, then her husband, Lee, and son, Todd, joined them in 2000. They then opened up their second office. This time in Panama City. In 2002, they opened up their third office in Fort Walton Beach. They have now been in business for 12 years and absolutley love working with seniors in their area. To them, it IS personal...

Sonja Arrington - Marketing Director

Sonja Arrington has been with Home Instead Senior Care since May of 2007. She graduated from Tulane University with a degree in Biology. She was in Pharmaceutical Sales  for 15 years, and has 3 children. Sonja visits ALF, nursing homes and Independent Living Facilities to inform them about our company and how we can help.

Patricia Spencer - RN

Patricia Spencer has been with Home Instead Senior Care since February 2010. She has 23 years experience as a Registered Nurse in Florida with Hospital, Med-surg, orthopedic/neuro, renal, respiratory, cardiac, telemetry and ER, Long term care/nursing home, and Home Health. She has a Geronatology ANCC Certification that she earned in 1996, and is a DEOA Approved Alzheimer's training provider, as well as a BLS CPR Instructor. She is also ACHA CNA Train the Trainer approved and a Notary Public. She has 3 grown children, loves scuba diving, and volunteering at church with the nursing home ministry.

Raquel Gibson - Recruitment and Retention Coordinator

Raquel Gibson is the Recruitment and Retention Coordinator for Home Instead Senior Care and has been with the company since August 2010. She was recently promoted from Part-time Administrative Assistant. Her experience includes 20+ years of Customer Service, Medical Billing, and Office Administration. Raquel has lived in Panama City for the past 36 years, and is the mother of two amazing chilren; Donovan and Cheyenne. She enjoys cruising, reality T.V., watching Florida State football, and being actively involved in her church. Requel enjoys getting to know active caregivers and interacting with them. She is also grateful to be a part of the Home Instead Senior Care team knowing we make a difference in people's lives.
