Veterans Home Care Benefits
If you are a veteran or surviving spouse of a veteran requiring in-home care, or the assistance of a Home Instead Senior Care CAREGiver in your daily life, you may be eligible to receive a level of pension benefits from the Veterans Administration.
More About the Benefit
The Veterans' Administration offers a level of pension called the Aid and Attendance (A&A) Benefit. For those that qualify, this level is designed to assist with paying for in-home care services received by Veterans and surviving spouses. The in-home care is required to assist with activities of daily living such as eating, bathing, dressing, homemaker tasks and other personal care needs. Additional information can be found at www.veteranaid.org.
Please contact Janet Monastra in the Greensboro area Home Instead Senior Care office at (336) 464-7383 or 1-877-713-2445 for additional information on this benefit level or to find out how to apply.
